Benefits of Salt Therapy Treatments on top of Massage Benefits
What is a Salt Cave?
A salt cave is used to provide salt therapy, also known as halo therapy. Although only recently popular in the United States, salt therapy has been in use in Eastern Europe for over 150 years. For centuries, Monks used naturally occurring salt caverns to treat respiratory ailments. Today, manmade salt caves are constructed of Himalayan salt blocks and utilize a halogenerator to supply salt vapor into the air. The halogenerator disperses a controlled dose of salt into the cave to offer therapeutic benefits.
Why is Salt therapeutic?
Salt carries a few basic properties that support improving several different health conditions. Salt is a great anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and is also a mucolytic (loosens mucus and phlegm)
